Not sure who the owners are, but would imagine it to affect KSBW up in Salinas too. Money is the issue, the owners want more, Dish does not want to pay what they want. Never heard a word about the issue, not from the station on air, not from Dish, not on line from the station, I get an RSS feed from them. Just BAM! they're gone!
Ed: Just looked it up, something named Evening Post now owns the station.
 
WINK CBS in Fort Meyers, FL is also gone as of this morning because they refused to extend the contract during negotiations with Dish. There are going to be some PO'd football fans down here this weekend.

but that is a different owner (local one actually)

But the point is still valid.

Yep, it's baaack! must have been sometime Sunday evening, my scheduled recording of the 11pm news caught the golden balls event. That was quick! Like to know what the change in the contract is.
