Rams Are Going Back To LA

I totally agree with you Salsa..Theres Nothing worse for the Fans when a Team relocates to another city.I am not a fan of the Rams move to Los Angeles and I was a totally Devastated Cleveland Browns fan when Art Modell moved them to Baltimore...I can always hope that San Antonio could get an Expansion team like the way Houston did it and not destroy a Teams Fan base with Relocation...

won't happen, 32 is a perfect number for alignment and scheduling purposes. NFL won't be expanding for a long time, if ever.

Rams move TO LA ?
Where were they before LA ?

And you can't extort cities into building new stadiums for their teams if you expand to the city that you are using as a bargaining chip, like San Antonio, with that outdated & obsolete Alamodome, have been used, & now St. Louis AND San Diego will be used, & coming soon, London, England to be used as a bargaining chip. There will be no relocation/expansion to Toronto, though. They already have the CFL & the Argonauts, & they're not going to spend billions for a NFL standard luxury playhouse.

I never could understand why the Raiders wouldn't do the logical common sense thing & move into Levi's Stadium with the 49ers, then it dawned on me. The Raiders owners KNOW it is the right thing to do, they just want to be played handsomely for "doing the right thing." It's just like with the Clippers, who should be playing in Orange County in the same arena as the Anaheim Ducks, but they want to get paid handsomely for "doing the right thing." Bottom line with both the Raiders & the Clippers, it's all about the money & ONLY the money(not "the Raiders & the 49ers can't get along").

It's the 49ers stadium right ?
What makes you think the 49ers don't have a say in this ?

as i read it Santa Clara Stadium Authority owns levi stadium so 49ers probably have little or no say at all. besides if the nfl wants 49ers to share a stadium then they will share the stadium.

Unless the 49ers bought & paid for it, & built it, with their own money, I don't see how it is "their" stadium. I read somewhere that the manager of Levi's Stadium stated that it was built with both teams in mind. It has two home locker rooms to support two home teams, & they can light up the stadium in both teams' colors, whichever home team is playing at the time. It's all about the money, the whole money, & nothing but the money.

It was built that way. But the Raiders held out, and in the meantime the 49'ers managed to sell all the luxury boxes, which gives them most of the income from the stadium, leaving the Raiders with only gate prices (which are shared with the rest of the league). So all the financial incentives for the Raiders to move their are gone, as the 49'ers have all the non-shared income.

If the Raiders had agreed at the onset, they could have split the luxury boxes, but that ship has sailed.

For the same reasons, there's no financial incentive for the Raiders or Chargers to move into a Rams owned stadium, so neither team will be moving to LA.
With the Rams actually owning the stadium, there is no way they're letting either team have some of their non-shared revenue.

It won't happen, the NFL wants nothing more than to have the Davis family give it ownership of the Raiders.

Absolutely correct.

Absolutely correct.
The Texas Raiders? Or the San Diego Raiders? Or the St. Louis Raiders(if the Jacksonville Jaguars don't beat them to St. Louis first)? OOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRR, the LONDON, UK Raiders?
Edit: Oklahoma City Raiders? Just not the Oakland Raiders because the city of Oakland is as bad off as the city of Detroit.

Here is the most truth based article I have read so far as to why Raiders aint going no where and never was. The reading is a bit long and it may not interest many because it is not their team, but it is pretty depth about how local government and the inner workings of the "billionaire boys", also known as the NFL owners.
