Oh and maybe a different issue but im thinking it is related. Anyone else lately notice shows will show watched status right away even though nobody did. On top of that it is a weird string of characters after the letter r when you goto resume episodes as opposed to the actual episode name like it is supposed to be

I think that is due to "prepare for transfer". Turn that off and new recordings should be fine.

Also back to normal except for hiccup. After 10 or 15 minutes watching live tv, got black screen for about 10 minutes, then message 'checking external hard drive this could take up to 50 minutes' (I have 2 EHD's connected to H3). Took a shower and came back to black screen. I disconnected both EHD's then hit reset button on H3, came back up with no timers, PTAT, But everything came back in about 5 minutes, Been ok for about an hour but I feel like I can't breath around the H3 or it will zonk again.

I went to bed around 10:30 last night and woke up at about 1:30. It was working again at 1:30.

I was watching tv last night at the H3 just locked up. Hit the reset button a few times and it rebooted.

When it came Bach it had a hard disk failure. Unplugged a few times, hit the reset button a number of times and finally it came back with my recordings but no timers. I tried restoring from the remote and I couldn't get the timers to restore.

Woke up this morning and all is back to normal. It kind of feels like things aren't as snappy as they were before. Some lag after pressing the remote buttons.
