They are both receivers will cool features. I prefer the H2... It really just depends on what you're looking for specifically.

H3 should (I thought) be free for new subs, which you would be. You would have to sign up for two years.

It's only free for 'highly qualified' new subs. For others it's from $50 to $150 up front.

Does their TV ad say "highly qualified customer" when they offer to add the new Hopper3 for an additional $10 month in the new customer offer? Call them back...

(Hopper and Super Joey combination IS better than a Genie in all ways.)

That's what I thought but in the long run more money saved for me regular hopper will be just fine with me don't watch on my phone or on the go anyways!! Just glad to get a new looking guide wonder how it will look. Tired of the plain old Directv 1

You'll most likely get a Hopper w/Sling and if you do and want to transfer to your phone or tablet it will be there.

Regardless of your present mobile "routine", I believe you will love DishAnywhere somewhere down the line. I could not be without it, since I am out of town a few months out of the year. Always have my DVR with me!!

Even if you did not get the h3 but still ordered a hopper it will most likely be a hopper with sling so you could still watch on your phone if you decided to down the road.
