Why is he posting about Sunbeam on the channel uplink thread? Obviously it hasn't been taken off Dish and there are no Sunbeam channels listed in the reports.

Given the situation Sunbeam is in - losing an affiliate not being on one Satellite provider and now possibly another one, they need to bend alot because I don't think they have anywhere near the value they did. I'm guessing those are the slates for Sunbeam though I would think there would be three.
Sunbeam's Boston station will lose its NBC affiliation next year so they want to lock in a high price now, before it is too late. I don't think it will work with Dish, especially with DTV blacking out the same channels.

It's shady tactics by Sunbeam. Exactly, WHDH is losing NBC, and unless they can renew WLVI's CW contract, and have it be allowed to be transferred to WHDH, there is no network available right now for WHDH. CBS owns WBZ, Cox just renewed WFXT's contract with FOX. My Network TV is in contract with WSBK...plus it's useless anyway, Hearst has ABC locked in tight with WCVB. And to add, WLVI's contract with the CW is up soon. The speculation is that CBS will move the CW over to their owned WSBK. At best, Sunbeam could be looking at owning two independents in Boston, or possibly a My Network TV affiliate.

So, Sunbeam is using its ability to have the Olympics and NBC's fall lineup as leverage over both companies. That's quite bullcrap. And to add to the misery. The folks in Miami get to be screwed with over Sunbeam's pissing contest in Boston.
