So I ordered a 4K tv for my main TV (connected to my H3) to replace my 10-12yr old DLP.
Right now it's connected via the HDMI that came from Dish, is this all I need to watch 4K with my H3?

I was on Dish's 4K page trying to see what channels/programs are in 4K, and it doesn't really say, so what might I me able to watch?

Anything else I need to know?

Your all set.
You can watch 4K movies on dish for rental.
Plus there's a bunch of free 4K movies and
Free programs on dish on demand.

Also there's more on Netflix's. Just type in 4K and plenty of 4K programming will populate. Great series like house of cards
And more!

Enjoy

No Netflix account , my internet is to slow anyway .

So there's no 4k "channel " like for example ESPN, just some shows I can download/ppv.

Yep. That's correct.

Right now, most of the 4K programming is coming from the streaming services, like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. I think most recommend 20-25 Mbps connection for 4K streaming. DirecTV has one 4K "channel" which is a mix of special/live events and sports and other stuff they've cobbled together, but none of the regular channels like ESPN have stepped up with a 24/7 4K Channel via any of the providers yet.

Yea, on a good day I might get 10M, most are in the 7s, then I have a teen who is always gaming . . . .

OK, I have some really dumb Blu Ray questions. (yes I still only have a DVD player (And VCR!). I haven't watched a disc movie in ages, months, maybe years?
But I have a boatload of home movies (converted from Hi-8, some mini DV tapes, and now HD camcorder). I assume if I buy a blu ray burner & player, I can store more hours of video on BR than the DVD?
Is there such a beast as a external BR burner (PC) and hdmi player in 1? (Google's been no help)
Is there a better forum out there for this questions?

Is there a way to clean up my Windows 10 PC with thousands of videos to just the ones I want to show up on the Dish home media thing?

I use this to burn HD MP4s from my computer onto 25GB Blu-ray write-once discs. Most if not all Blu-ray players will play them.

Amazon product ASIN B00OLZCD5K
I'm not aware of any stand-alone (no PC required) burner/player combo.

I'm still waiting for my TV to arrive; but in the mean time tried to download superstore in 4K.
I got a message something about not enough bandwidth; didn't give an option to watch later aka download & save.
So I'm I just screwd on my 4K purchase & my sucky 10M internet?

The 4K television is still a great upgrade for most. Perhaps in the future you will have the ability to increase your internet bandwidth.
