audio dropouts

Hi guys......I'm experiencing a lot of audio dropouts while watching HBO's Vice News. Anybody else?

that's a a normal thing now with most receiver

I am getting it quite often as well.
It may be normal, but it shouldn't be.
Does anyone know what causes it, or what may be required to fix it?

I also get occasional major pixelation. I suspect that is related.

Could it be a partial eclipse of the satellite?
A plane, a cloud, a tree or someone really tall walking by.

That is absolutely not true. I have yet to hear live or recorded drop outs on H3.

I've not experienced the drop out issue either.
But I'm also running U334 still.

I was informed U336 has a wide variety of strange issues.
Could be you guys are running U336?

My Hoppers2 with U221 used to have audio sync issues from time to time.

But My Hopper 3 is still running the same software that downloaded when it was installed a month ago.

Just on a VERY rare occasion did I hear any on my old H/wSling.

That is exactly the point. When there is an audio drop out you don't hear it. I prefer to hear the dialogue, rather than the silence.

I have had dropouts on H3 for a few months, never wth streaming or casting, Netflix,Fire Tv.
