Well I took some hopefully good advice from ChadT41 and changed my order to a Hopper 3 and a joey 2.0.

Can I connect a 6 TB EHD to my HWS to transfer programs from the full HWS HD, or is 2 TB the max?

What will the dish to H3 connections look like, Node? Hub?? Is there a requirement for power?

How will the Joey 2.0 be connected? Can it be connected via ethernet?

Will I be able to transfer my scheduled recordings from the HWS to H3?

H3 will only recognize up to a 2 TB drive.

Copy recordings to a 2TB or less EHD that has its own power supply. Trouble with copying back to the H3 has been noted, it's best just to leave them on the EHD.

Is there a way to hook Cox Cable to an OTA adapter on the H3, using the standard cox mini set top box with coax to the adapter? Or tuning adapter? Or ??

No, the Cox cable uses QAM format and the OTA adapter is ATSC, what the station transmit over the air, only.

We have copied many recordings from our original two Hoppers to two EHDs and then to our new Hopper 3. The only problem that we had is that it took many hours to make the copies. Everything that we copied seems to be in order.

When I copied from my HWS to an external drive and then on to the H3 I had very few problems. There were one or two recordings that would not transfer, but otherwise no problems. And I was bad, I was using a bus powered EHD.
