I am thinking about upgrading to a Hopper and one Joey from a 722 and would like to know how Dish Anywhere works with the Hopper. Is it like the 722 where it uses the tv 2 feed to operate. In other words, with a Hopper and Joey would i loose being able to watch the Joey feed if someone in another room logged on to Dish Anywhere on an IPad or can you watch three programs at once?

With Hopper models 1 & 2 you can watch 3 things at the same time, with a Hopper 3 you can watch 16 things at the same time. :)

At least three things. Three live streams plus DVR'd material.

BIG improvement over the VIPs.

DishAnywhere uses the Sling technology.
You only get 1 DishAnywhere connection per Sling receiver.

So, If you have 2 Hopper1/2, with Sling (adaptor for H1), you can have 2 connected DishAnywhere devices.
I believe this also utilizes available tuners for each DA device, if 'live streaming'.

If you have a single Hopper3, you can connect a single DishAnywhere device, which will utilize 1 of 16+ tuners if 'live streaming'.
