This may be a little confusing..Have a 722k and sling adaptor..I currently use a free internet connection not from my home address..Question is does the connection give location like the phone jack ? I don't want to start paying for internet just to use the sling

it shows IP address... not sure why that would force you to start paying for internet.
That shouldn't...just wanting to make sure that they don't want to match the address like the phone line does to make sure the receiver is located at the house address it's billed at..I'm going to be using the receiver in camper some

Many folks here use their home receiver while camping or tailgating. There is nothing to sweat over...

I use a Verizon hotspot as my main ISP, and it can show any number of locations depending on the day. Sometimes I get an IP from Chicago, sometimes Tulsa... it's all over the place. Dish has never said anything to me about it. And if they ever do, I'll tell them I'll be happy to spend my $84 a month on a different TV provider.

What they really care about is that all the receivers on your account are at the same IP not where the IP is.
