This is a reach, but if any of you are recording AMC's The Terror, and you already had a series timer, did your timer fire for tonight? Mine misses this week but sees the episode next Monday night. It didn't just skip tonight's episode, it wasn't even in the schedule. It would be interesting why the timer didn't find tonight's episode.

The Terror is new tonight. I have a timer set to go to record all new. Next Monday 4/9 is also new but no timer was showing as new even though it is. I tried to restore it but it wouldn't let me. Next try was to delete the timer then record weekly. Again the show for 4/9 showed as a rerun. I had to set two one time timers.
I have been checking my daily schedule to see if the timers are set to go.

Thanks for the heads up. I read the book and clicked 'record new' as soon as The Terror made it onto the guide.

Like you, tonight's (Monday) episode was nowhere to be found on my upcoming schedule. I had to go to the guide and go to AMC at 9:00 PM to set a 'record this' for the show.

On the DVR upcoming it shows next week's airing with the proper logo of Ciarán Hinds, but tonight's episode does not. Just the episode name: The Ladder with a blank tile.

My guess is that somehow the guide did not include that this was a "The Terror" episode.

Again....thanks for the heads up. I would have been PO'd.

On my H3, all is well. I set a 'new only' series timer before the first episode last week and today, both tonight's and next monday's episodes are set to record.

Im glad I found some others who were seeing this. Sometimes timers fail and we caught one in the act.

When I deleted the timer and set it to record series with tonight's episode, next week was not found. So I made a once timer for tonight and a new series timed with that of next week.

I didn't notice tonight's icon was wrong too. It makes. I wonder if there is a special character in the title string.

To test this I did some searches. It gives mixed results when searching on the full title "the terror".

I just noticed this isn't the first service to complain about "the ladder" not being included in the timer. I guess once the service gets it wrong, it gets copied everywhere.

AMC "The" Terror

AMC "The" Terror

Once I read this thread, I went back and made a single "Record This" timer.

Watching tonight I noticed that it recorded the show two times. So I guess they caught The Error (for The Terror, yuk, yuk) in time for my original series timer to fire as well.

Even though my timer for "The Terror" is firing off correctly, I'm not immune to this either.

My first run recording timer for "Here and Now" on HBO switched from the first run episode on Sunday, to a 15 minute 'phantom' show that supposedly airs at 9:15 PM (Pacific, on HBO E) on Saturday night. Both zap2it and TV guide do not have this episode in the HBO schedule for Saturday night. This happened for both this weekend and next.

My brother also missed ep 3.Can some kind soul please tell me the next time ep 3 reruns by looking at their timer(or guide)?I don't get AMC and for whatever reason is not in my all channel guide.I also tried to find the info on AMC's website but no luck. Thanks
