Better than Directv Now?

Go with the service that has the channels you want. I'm with DirectvNow because it has the channels we want. Does it have problems? Absolutely, but improvements will be made as we go alone. I don't record too much TV but my wife does so I'm thankful they're adding the DVR function to Directvnow.

I've looked at Sling TV, Hulu, Youtube TV, and PS Vue. None of them are as good as Directv Now. Is there anything better than Directv Now?
If you like the Directv Now out of those listed (which pretty much covers all the options), then for you, there is nothing better than Directv Now.

In my own experience, and for me, PS Vue was the best overall. However I am currently using YTTV, as it offers four locals and I have the $35 price locked in.
DIrectv now, when I used it the first time, was so prone to drop outs that it wasnt worth it. In trying it out again several months later, it seems that improvements had been made, and I am sure it is even better now than then.

It depends what plan you are on. The Base Dtv now plan has value at $35. Above that all other services with a combination of Philo for the missing channels is a lot better value with more features and reliability.

Isn't it whatever the missus thinks is best? I don't have a missus, so I can get away with the sports-heavy PS Vue or YTTV that lack a few basic cable channels that tend to be more popular for women and family audiences.

In terms of reliability, there is nothing better for most users, as has been widely reported by those who have "tried them all," than YouTube TV. Though you may have no problems with DirecTV Now, that's not the experience for a lot of people. However, it's very rare to hear someone reporting of serious, persistent buffering issues or outages with YTTV. And when it does happen, it tends to be an issue with the user's set up (device, app version, home Wi-Fi, etc.). I've only had buffering or disconnection a couple of times, and in those instances, I was having issues with the signal from my ISP.

I agree, yttv is VERY stable. I will say ps vue for me was as stable however. I can't think of a time I had a outage with either.

I have with the other three. Although hulu this past week was very stable, and the new guide was a nice addition.

Those would be my personal top three.
