With the CW moving from WBNX channel 55 to WUAB channel 43 on Monday, July 16, does anyone want to start a pool to guess how long it will take Dish to update the guide?

Right now, the CW programming has been removed from the guide listings on WBNX, but it is not yet listed on WUAB. The logo in the guide for WBNX is still the CW logo, and WUAB still has the My Network TV logo.

Well since WUAB will STILL remain a secondary MNTV affiliate, it's technically correct either way... ;)
Yes, but WUAB will be branding themselves as CW 43. My main concern is to get the CW logo off WBNX, not which logo appears for WUAB. At least that would make things less confusing.

The good news (in a round-about way) to come out of this is that both Fox (which is buying WJW) and Tegna (current owner of WKYC) are rumored to be interested in buying WBNX. Whichever company does not get WBNX will likely buy WQHS, which will hopefully restore that station to Dish's local channel package in Cleveland. (WQHS is currently off Dish due to the Univision dispute.)

Guide adjustment was nearly immediate when CW and CBS swapped Indianapolis channels about three years ago.

Well, KAB's guess was "nearly immediate." I would say that deadline came and went with no change so far. Does anyone else want to take a guess?

Well, if you guessed four days, you would have been right. The CW logo is still on the wrong channel, but at least WUAB lists Masters of Illusion and Penn & Teller: Fool Us tonight. If anyone wants to guess how long it will take for the logo in the guide to get updated, there is still one more chance to win a prize!*

*To quote the tagline from "The Bunny Award" in Wizard Magazine: "There is no logic attached to this, nor is there a prize."
