Was using 110,119,129 for my dish, trees getting taller and signal weaker. I got a 61.5,72 lnb to move more east, all my channels are there too. Got the dish set with good signal on 61.5 and 72, did the switch test and downloaded new guide. I only get audio channels ? Does the box have to update or do I call dish and tell them about the change?

Are you saying all your channels are there but they are black screens with a banner and only provide audio? I would check your signal levels on both satellites. If I recall correctly, I would check 61.5 ts 29 and 72.7 ts 21 and report back on the signal strength. I would also try resetting the receiver.

Only audio channels, no blank screens with flags. Guide only shows audio channels. Signal on both is around 52
That's an odd one. You can call Dish and tell them you did an arc swap and ask for a programming hit. Unplug it for 10-12 seconds, then when it boots up, it should acquire signal and d/l a new Program Guide

Disconnect sat cable from back of the receiver, run check switch (clears the satellite matrix - no satellites found), reconnect the cable and run check switch again, that might help.
That works on a VIP, but on a Hopper with the CUI, it's just comes up as an error with reception

I have seen this issue before, many years ago, when I hooked up a deactivated receiver from my sister's Dish account to my dish. The solution was to leave the receiver in standby and let it do a software update. Then, when I turned it back on, I was getting all of the channels from her old account. After that, I called Dish to have the receiver added to my account, and it started getting my channels instead, as expected.

I switch between WA and EA at times. I usually have to do a power reset of the Hopper. No need to flush the matrix, just a power reset. And of course a Switch Check.
