Weather has been stormy most of the afternoon and the local stations are running wall to wall weather. Lost satellite signal with the error message that says something like '...this should take no more than five minutes'. I pressed guide and selected the OTA channel (007-01) I was watching on Dish (007-00). The channel came up, but kept getting the pop up '...this should take no more than five minutes' - and this was On the OTA channel. Also, the whole screen would gray out, but program kept playing. I pressed cancel and the dialog box would go away and picture came back full color, but it only lasted about 5 seconds before it popped up again. I haven't had this problem in the past and was curious if anyone else had experienced this.

On some of the locals the spot beams are bad and have a low signal.

Dish setup a fake technical difficulties message instead of acquiring satellite signal to cut down on calls to customer service.
But I was watching an OTA channel via my outside antenna after I lost Dish signal.

Sent from my cheap phone using the SatelliteGuys app!
