No video with DishAnywhere and Hopper 3

A couple of months ago, I upgraded from a 722 with a sling adapter to a Hopper 3. With the 722, DishAnywhere worked fine with my phone (LG G6) and with my laptop (using Firefox). A little over a week ago, while on a trip, I tried to use DishAnywhere for the first time since getting the Hopper. I got audio but no video, only a blank screen.

After coming home, I installed the DishAnywhere app on my wife's phone (Motorola e5 Play) and got the same result. I then tried my laptop, and got the same result. The phones were tried with both wi-fi and 4Glte connections. The laptop had an ethernet connection to my router. The Hopper is connected to the router using wi-fi. Other video apps (such as NBC Sports) work fine on the phones, and the laptop shows other videos.

I have gone through the Hopper menus looking for something that I may have missed, and found nothing that helps. Does anyone have any ideas about what I am doing wrong, before I call Dish support?

Who is your internet provider?

Comcast for internet, and Verizon for phone. But with the 722 and these same carriers, DishAnywhere worked fine.
Hoppers have known issues with Comcast Gateways. If that;s what you're using, that could be the problem. I've seen problems range from nothing internet related will work to only On-Demand won't, or Netflix won't work. It's odd, but adding a 3rd Party Router to connect the Hopper to is one way to fix it, using direct connect with Ethernet or if you're handy, try to get and install a Hopper Internet Connect (Hic).

Does toggling the HQ/SQ/Audio options help bring the picture back up? I would also try resetting your Hopper by unplugging it for 10 seconds.

I would also make sure that your internet connection is also steady at your Hopper. You can check this by pressing Home three times (50.0, 52.0, 54.x) or menu twice (40.0) which will take you to the DISH Diagnostics screen. Then, let's go ahead and choose Status, and then Check Status. The Internet Status should show connected with a green checkmark.
