Good afternoon, I have a Netflix on Joey getting worse. I can access and select a show to watch on a Joey 4K, but the remote stops working. In the past, it was after the popup asking if I was still watching. Now, shortly after the selected show begins to play, the remote will no longer function and requires a Joey reset to regain remote function. The Netflix show will play without issue and play the next show, but without remote functions. Has anyone had this issue or a resolution?

Thanks

It's a well known and often reported issue amongst Dish tech. We haven't found a fix that works 100% of the time

OK, that begs for this question: Do you have a fix that works part of the time?

You're not going to like it but the best fix is, if you can, don't use Hopper or Joeys for Netflix. Find a better way. TV App, Roku/Firestick. It's been problematic since day 1. I don't see it getting any better, either.

When somebody (Netflix?) broke the application on our H3, my wife went over to our Roku TV and used the Netflix client there and never looked back, even when they fixed it on the H3. This is one of the reasons I'm the only one using our H3 and J3 setup these days... The only good thing I can say about that episode is that I did get another Roku TV out of it. :D

Wasn't the Netflix app written by Netflix for Dish to install?

I don't think Netflix has much interest in fixing it since a Netflix subscription is required whether you use Dish or some other viewing method..
