Is it possible to what the signal from a hopper / Joey with a HDMI receiver and transmitter

Hi I need your help is it possible to split the signal between a hopper hopper/Joey with an HDMI transmitter and receiver I currently have the old receiver which I can do this with and I'm almost being forced by dish to switch to hopper and Joey which I do not want to do because it will cost me a lot more money to have all the TVs in my housework. But that will have to have another receiver for my camper now I already own two receivers one for my camper and one for my fifth bill and I will no longer be able to use my old 522 and 622 Now using my camper I think I currently have 722 HDMI receiver in my house I have two of those witch powers about seven TV by mirroring and using table I don't need to have HDMI on every TV. The Hopper 3 has three type of outputs: HDMI, component (RCA plugs RGB/LR) and composite (RCA plugs video and L/R). All three of these outputs can be split or you could use an old VCR to convert the Composite to an RF on channel 3 or 4 similar to what you have out of your 722.

The Joey has two outputs, HDMI and composite, again they can be either spoit ir the composite can be converted to RF with an old VCR or a dedicated composite to RF converter.

Be aware that every time you split the signal it becomes proportionally weaker (4 way split - signal is approximately 1/4 of the original signal strength).

It is true that a VIP DVR receiver such as the 622 cannot be on the same account as a Hopper, but you can have a Wally receiver or a VIP 211 as a ""tailgater" system on a Hopper account. You must have a separate dish of course for the unit in your camper.

Just for clarity, you must own that Wally or VIP 211, you can't have it supplied by DISH.

A good way to "split" a composite or component video is to use a distribution amplifier so the signal levels remain the same. That is of course an added expense for the amp.

I use a powered HDMI splitter on the output of my AV receiver to send a signal to two hdtvs in other rooms of my house. The only problem is I can only watch the program on the main tv on my other two tvs, which suits my needs.
