Where our wheels go
Wow! Another email from Locast already:

You can now stream local broadcast TV channels in Wilkes Barre and Scranton in northeastern Pennsylvania, for free.
We are pleased to announce that Locast now delivers 16 local TV channels to viewers in the Wilkes Barre-Scranton-Hazleton TV market, which encompasses 17 counties.

This is our 25th market, making Locast available to more than 148 million people across the nation.

Thanks for posting. This may come in handy if we have any antenna issues in the future. :) :thumbup

I wonder what the chances are of them completing the market coverage properly? They're using the SD broadcast of CW from a subchannel of the Fox station instead of the main CW station and its subchannels, they don't have the ION station and its subchannels at all, and also the one I'm really interested in, independent station WYLN.

Probably because WYLN isn't SWB, it's Hazelton PA.

I suggest dropping a note to Locast to ask about that.

I am surprised about this smaller market being added with so many larger markets that haven't been added.

It may be related to where enough dedicated donations came from. Corporate and personal dedicated contributions are what got Locast into the Rapid City and Sioux Falls, SD markets. As I recall, even one or more universities donated there.

Your telling me that enough people in Puerto Rico gave donations to them?
