Is there a maximum number of recordings you can have for a particular show? Like can you have 100 or more episodes of Family Guy or NCIS on your Hopper or do the oldest ones get deleted automatically?
I have 280 episodes of Big Bang Theory recorded (all 12 seasons). There doesn't seem to be a limitation if you keep all and still have hard drive space.
For me, no program is important enough to have like 100 episodes or the entire series and hog quite a bit of DVR space. 5 to 10 episodes does wonders for me and I don’t need more than that.
I have recorded all 118 episodes of Archer without problems. In his post above, logdog says he recorded 280 episodes of Big Bang Theory, so I don't think there is a limit.
