When Bosch returns in '22 it will stream on IMDB. Could the IMDB app be added to the H3 like Netflix and Prime?

IMDB is owned by Amazon (Prime) so I suppose that is a possibility considering Prime is there today. I already have IMDB apps on my AppleTV, Roku, and Firestick. It wouldn't matter to me if it were on the Hopper or not. Even it it were on the Hooper I would still use one of the other devices first.

Hello Jon J! At this time, we do not have the option to add additional apps to the Hopper 3. We're happy to submit feedback that you'd like IMDb to be available on the Hopper 3, and thank you for any comments and suggestions that help us continue to provide the best experience for you and other clients.

DISH Support can we submit the apps we wish for in the Hopper 3 in this SatGuys forum? If so I will start a new thread for requested apps. They will all be in one area for you to submit up the line to the proper folks at DISH.

Absolutely! While we can make no guarantees, everything we pass on is read and considered.

And IMDB's imposed commercials that you can NOT skip. I tried watching a few shows, and I just found it a frustrating experience waiting through commercials, so I don't ever view anything on that SAD service. And yet, Amazon seems to have been putting more and more GOOD and now FIRST RUN content on IMDB instead of including it in PRIME. Amazon must have decided that there is a pot of gold in non-skipping commercials. Aren't all new first run Judge Judy's supposed to be on IMDB? All with commercials that can not be skipped.

Is there a restriction on if DISH can include the HULU app on the H3? Right now I have to switch inputs to my Apple TV to watch Hulu. If Dish can supply Netflix and Amazon, it would be great to have HULU as well. I think it's a low overhead app.

Hey bookworm370,

We currently don't have any information about HULU joining the Apps list on our receivers, but we will be happy to send your request to our home office for review and consideration. We are continuously working to provide the best viewing experience for our customers and welcome any suggestions to help!
