Bally Sports RSNs Are Reportedly Preparing For Bankruptcy

You don't have to bounce around looking for your network, you don't have to wonder what channel your game is on, its just there.
If I want to watch whatever show, its on the network it always is on ....
Apples to apples, You dont have to "bounce around" looking for your network on any of the linear streaming providers either. ESPN is ESPN no matter if its delivered via Directv satellite or by the internet and Youtube TV.

Now if your talking about the variety of non linear streaming services, then its a little different. Yes, you may have a few more steps, but the variety of content available to consume is far more vast than what a more limited traditional provider can provide.

In those instances, if I know what I want to look for I just search for it on the device I am using and it tells me what service its available to watch on in most cases.

You don't have to bounce around looking for your network,
Looking on your guide is not jumping around?

And you are conflating Live TV and on demand streaming services.

There is streaming Live TV with a guide, that is the closest to DirecTV.

Then On Demand Streaming, which like Cable/Satellite On Demand content, you have to find what you want.
you don't have to wonder what channel your game is on, its just there.
Yes you did have to jump around to find what channel your game is on.

Before the Big Ten Streaming deal, just last season, would the Michigan game be on BTN, ABC, ESPN 1 or 2, ESPN 3, Fox, Fox Sports.

Your hatred of streaming is really showing there, ignoring it was just as bad before Peacock and Paramount+ got the deal from ESPN.
If I want to watch whatever show, it’s on the network it always is on ....
The networks/channels are putting out less and less new content on Paid Live TV, so no, it is not just always on.
I can't even find what Streaming service some things are on, by the time I Do find out, then if I Really want to watch it I have to Sub to yet Another App and turn it on and Hope what I wanted is still there.
It is not hard, I am only a couple of years younger then you, just have to get used to a new way of finding content.
Amazons App is bad for that, I Have AP ... and it will Find most anything, THEN tell you you need to PAY to watch the show you just looked up ... I already Pay for AP, ,why do I have to pay again ... when in reality it on Free elsewhere, but it didn't tell me where ....

On D* I pick up my remote and its just THERE.
Already paid for.
They do not have PPV on DirecTV?

That is what Prime is, the stuff you get included and the Pay stuff, no different then Cable/Satellite.

And you do not get everything with DirecTV unless you pay for the higher packages, different tiers.

They do. Channels 114 to 124 (boxing, etc.) and 126 to 177 (movies).
Duh, hence the question mark, sarcasm is so lost when posting, Amazon Prime has PPV as does DirecTV, so why he would expect just paying for Prime would give him access to everything when DirecTV does not do that,

his words-On D* I pick up my remote and its just THERE.
Already paid for.

No it is not.

Here's some irony for everybody. I watched game six of the NLCS last night on the TBS app on my Roku. Using my parents' Spectrum credentials. :biggrin
Which is password sharing, which is stealing.

Warner/TBS pays high rights fees in expectation that people will pay for MAX or a cable package that gets per sub fees.

Again, if more and more did that, it makes the programming costs even more for those who do pay.

Why do you care? TBS stockholder?
No, Warner/Discovery stock is awful with their high debt and not enough earnings.

Stealing is wrong, period, there is no justification that will make it right.

And that is about the 10th time you have made a comment about me owning stock and trying to make it sound negative , yet I have never made one personal comment about you ever.

I grew up extremely poor and that taught me the value of money, so I saved and saved and invested over 30 years, so yes, I own shares in corporations , do not know why you find that so personally insulting.

Because you come off sounding like the Satelliteguys Morality & Ethics Police. I shared a password. Big deal. I'm not John Gotti. Get over it!
Ive been reading hear long enough that you couldnt talk about satellite theft at any level? Not the same?

satellite theft at any level

Well technically this isn't satellite theft. And, I used *my parents* credentials. Technically I share a residence with them parts of the year. So, again, technically, I stole nothing. Bruce just wants to make mountains out of molehills and personally attack users.

If the moderators wish to report me to the Streaming Police, go ahead. I've done worse!
