Hopper 3 Version 392 is Here

A gable mount avoids roof penetrations and gets the same height.

Now, to FIND one!
I spent about 90 mins on the phone (mostly on hold) talking to 6 or 7 different CSRs. Via somehow locked my account with "no LOS" which is a damn lie from the pit of hell. It seemed as though I was making progress getting handed all the way up to account integrity (why I don't know) who claimed they removed the "no LOS" block. No joy. How can some idiot put that block on my account and yet nobody in Dish can get it removed?

I waited 5 days and called back. The "no LOS" block is still on my account and nobody can clear it. Today I spoke to somebody in Cape Town who claimed that she couldn't tell me who put the block on my account but that that person would have to take it off again. Seems plausible but I think the tech who originally wanted to mount the dish on the east side of my house and came with an 18" mast is the culpable party. Why oh why doesn't Dish have somebody capable of removing the block?

I think I'll give them an "Apt. 0" next time I call and see if they can work that angle. But I'm afraid they'll again schedule the same tech who obviously can't read his own compass. He also told me that 72 was the farthest east, which is true for the LNB but not for the LOS. That tech is an embarrassment to ViaSat and to Dish.

I am having a remarkably difficult time finding a satellite tech not asociated with ViaSat. Any pointers or search terms? Angi is useless. Google is also useless. Yelp is useless. 20 years ago, this was not an issue but now it seems it is. 20112

VIA is the only provider in your area, per your zip code.

Feel free to PM me and I can take a further look.

Weird issue I been noticing if I hit skip back 10s on streaming channel it it jumps forward (it just jump ahead in the buffer and that is on "live" streaming), I have to actual hit rewind for to actual go back, then skip back works correct, as far as I can tell this dont happen on satellites channels or dvrs.

Amazon app when ran on joey 4k is broke again, the old bug where I would watch movie or episodes or 2 before it losing server connection, is back which kinda sad cause last time this bug was happen in was in triage for years. bug didnt happen when it was played directly from h3, when it was happening on the joey 4k, dont know if that still true though.
