An "Outdoor" account is very much different than a residential account, in that you can start and stop the service at will on a 30 day basis. Don't need Dish for the next month or so? Just don't pay the bill for the upcoming 30 day period. No hassles, no overdue notices, the service just stops at the end of the paid period. Want to restart the service? Just log in to MyDish and pay the amount shown for the next month starting immediately. Worst case, you may need to give your receiver(s) a "wake up" hit, also easily done online. Want to move to a new location with different locals? Easily done with a few taps in the Dish phone app as long as you're within the spot beam footprint. The app uses your phone's GPS to determine where you are. It's also possible to easily "move" where you aren't, but that's a different post.
