question about 54.0 remotes

I finally had to get rid of my 722 boxes and had a hopper 3 and 2 Joeys installed today.
Is their any way to go forward through the guide a day at a time?
It was easy and fast with the 20.whatever remotes that came with 722 boxes.

While in the guide, hold down the skip forward or back button.

It won't take long, once you get used to it the 54.0 is a great remote.

i wonder if you can do that function by speaking into it just give it a date and time . it does everything else. though alexa is better... i prefer alexa to work the hopper. the 54.0 is a great remote though

If you still have those remotes, they WILL work with the new receivers, though only in IR mode.
I still use them myself with my Ho's to this day.

40.0 & 21.0 works a lot of things for the Hopper Plus.

But they leave out plenty of other things that are important so, if you have a plus, they don't enter well into the conversation.

What so called important things do you think are left out? My 40 remote does everything I need it to on my plus.
