Unless he was at the CEDIA event in Denver back in 2006, I don't believe I ever had the honor of meeting Claude, just the stories here on the site.

I have bought supplies over the years from Claude, always got stuff to me very quickly (it helps that I too am not far from Detroit)
I did meet Claude one time in person at a Detroit Tigers game that he got tickets for me to see.

I found his dad's with the same name, but it usually takes 3 days minimum for obit's to hit in Michigan. They aren't free, and they aren't cheap.

Yeah unfortunately his dad who was also Claude passed away recently as well. I believe he lost his dad shortly after I lost my mom.

Give me a few days to think on how we can save DishRetailer after all it IS the longest running Satellite Discussion website in the USA on the Internet. Claude was there even before DBSforums. And yeah he started it as a teenager! He just turned 21 when I took him to Star Trek in Vegas.

I'm glad I've been here long enough to have interacted with Claude before he got banned.

I think Scott is now 54, but his birthday is at the end of this month. Claude would be about 46 now, if I'm counting right.
