BSG Season 3.5 on Scifi, 1/21/07 & 3.0 on UHD 1/27/07

Exactly my point... all the more so if as far as you can see in the future nothing will change. I certainly would bitch and moan if the only reason I was blocked from a job was because people thought my current job was too important to lose me.

Everytime there is not a battle going on in an episode the Tivo and Avs BSG threads are moaning about "when are they going to get back on track"... I think episodes like the still unseen by me one are needed for back story and continuity... (more realistic imho)

Yes, and if they were fighting the toasters every week, they would very quickly run out of vipers and pilots.

There are some back-story episodes that do bore me... The whole Apollo-Starbuck love triangle (quadrangle) thing isn't a story I care about.

But episodes such as the one with Doctor Death, or this weeks fuel/workforce problems have a much larger impact than just a couple people who can't stay faithful to their spouses.

they would very quickly run out of vipers and pilots.

Wasn't that an issue at one time? The whole reason they built the "stealth" viper and were drafting anyone who had even an ounce of flying time to become a viper pilot? But now they are actually stopping qualified candidates from joining, and we've not seen any more viper supply problems. Did meeting the Pegasus fix all the military supply problems?

Last night's episode was exceptional, that was the best written and acted hour of TV I have seen this season! :clap :clap

I'm 2 SD editions behind, will catch up tonight I hope...

I am just as far behind, but with 24, Heroes, and the CBS lineup, its unlikely I'll catch up tonight. But I am glad I have something good to look forward to! I did manage to catch the HD episode from Saturday; that was good stuff.

So, anybody think ol' Starbuck is actually dead? Personally I don't.

Many spoilers believe she may end up being a cylon and we'll see her again... but I actually think there is a different ending here... she ejected (I believe we even see her fingering the ejection handle), and the cylon raider (which was real) picked her up.

If she is dead, what was the bonus feature about? I could not understand that one. Personally, I'll be glad that she is dead. I am tire of watching the love triangle and the same non-sense from her (being the bad boy/gal in the fleet). I do not think she is. Somehow she is going to make it back.

I seem to remember in the previews a few weeks back it said something along the lines of "One dies...." I wonder if they did kill her off but I kind of figured they would have had quite the memorial service or something like that if it was true. But I guess we could see that in this weeks episode.
