Whats the current status of new hard drives for 522s? I have a 522 that has a hard drive from another leased 522 that can never be activated. so my 522 has no seal on the hard drive
Its getting noisey and honestly the boix works well so i would rather just install a different drive.
do new drives still format automatically? do deactivated 522s still let you watch the recorded stuff. I have a bunch of shows on my drive for a buddy, about indian motorcycle rebuilding. rather than dub it might be easier to swap drives so he can watch them. theres like 12 hours to dub, i am lazy.......
might be easier to get a larger approved drive, making my 522 what a 625? would i just gain VOD shows?
