so now that the nfl schedule is out, any talk about cablevision in brooklyn getting the nfl network. it kills me that sunday ticket is only direct tv (redskins fan here), but no nfl network again, cablevision is the worst. bring on fios.

exactly Elstevo, thats what hurts. sunday ticket i think has a contract with directv for the next billion years but for cablevision to not have a channel that it seems like almost the rest of america has is annoying. they are all talk and no walk. but i will once i can. directv gets every hd station they can (what ever its easier for directv), just get the station cablevision. cable companies where once like phone companies, you didnt have a choice, you had verizon phone service or you didnt have a phone. now i have voip. well now our choice for tv is broadening.

I saw Dolan on Mike & Mad Dog on YES last night. They asked him about NFL Network, and he basically said that CV won't carry it until they can get Sunday Ticket. Which of course is not going to happen since D* has it locked up. He said the channel is overpriced for what it shows and it doesn't effect the Jets or Giants games since they have to be shown locally.

So if you are one of those people that have to have this channel, then you need to find another provider. I, frankly, could care less.

I share Mr. Dolan's and your feelings!

I second that. Since we are all in the NYC DMA we will ALWAYS get either the Giants or Jets if they are on the NFLN. For one, they show like 6 games a year? Go to a restaurant or a bar to watch.

Of course my views would change if we could ever get Sunday Ticket...:)
