USB Ports on H20

Does the USB ports allow for any functionality on the HD DVR? Is there any way to download/copy recorded TV shows to free up space on the DVR?

They are not active.

You can connect the H20 to any DVD recorder or PC capture card you wish via the various A/V connections (component, RCA, etc).

Some folks use the USB port to power a fan (the H20-600 runs pretty hot).

I know. I have my 4 units stacked and I had to put a separator and isolate the H20 to the way top. You can cook an egg on it.
