Do you get a better video picture with the HDMI cable? i know it has sound,but like to know if there is a better picture using it?

On my tv it looks better with the hdmi and also the programming sounds better.

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on your tv and its settings.
For some tvs HDMI may be better, for others Component may be better. You'll need to test them both for yourself and see which you prefer.
