I thought it was sort of weird, but I left my receiver on 241 while typing the message above and now my receiver is going through the process of trying to acquire a signal, etc.... and has been doing so for several minutes and still shows an error message.

Because the Atlanta NBC on channel 241 is for Dish Network subs who get distant networks from NPS. Where would you have wanted it?
In the Dish form ,Right where it is. its 7:35 pm eastern and my 241 is out also. Just a blank screen. Whats the problem? anyone know?
I just called All American Direct,They said a storm in the Atlanta area caused the outage. They said it should be back on the air withing 24 hours.
That is 100% BS. I live in the Atlanta area and it has been beautiful and sunny all day.
What about last night,since the First poster said 9pm Friday night . So how about midnight last night ? Any storms?

That's weird -- I live in the area and watched most of the Falcons game on NBC last night (although I fell asleep before it was over). Anyways, thanks for the info from NPS.
Dish must be rebooting some equipment or something. Lost signal from all 3 birds. Not just low signal, got absolutely NO signal.
Either a Dish reboot or they have weather over their uplink location.

Not sure where they are getting the signal from, but I was in downtown and midtown until late last night then just north of town after that and all day today and there were zero storms all day. The weather channel link is probably the airport (south of town), but I believe all the tv stations are downtown. Either way, there haven't been any reports on the news today about bad storms anywhere, so I'm still calling BS.

Haha, my guess is it wa just an excuse thinking you would never know the difference, but all well. Hope you get them back soon.
