A tech on reddit just replied saying you can't cancel without penalty.

So I'm getting a "wired connection lost" on all my receivers accept the main one. We went through everything for an hour and she said I need a service call. She offered me $99 for the service or $7.99 a month which includes box upgrades. Can I cancel the $7.99 a month after the tech comes out...
