Service call question

So I'm getting a "wired connection lost" on all my receivers accept the main one. We went through everything for an hour and she said I need a service call. She offered me $99 for the service or $7.99 a month which includes box upgrades.

Can I cancel the $7.99 a month after the tech comes out and fixes things?

I believe you can but with a penalty if you don't keep it for 6 months (i think). I've been out of the game for a bit now so things may have changed.

No cancellation fee anymore

I can’t post the article here but in November 2016 it was announced there is no longer a cancellation fee for any of the protection plans

Dude we can probably fix it here in the forum and save you $99.

Explain to me your setup, receiver type, etc.
That would be awesome. I have an HR54, a mini and the 4k receiver. The HR54 works fine. The network light is blinking on the other boxes.

Did you trace all the wiring back? If the network light is blinking it’s likely a bad splitter.

First thing I would do is trace all the wiring and see if anything changed.

Do you have a 4 way or 2 two way splitters?

This is the splitter we have. Everything seems to be fine. I traced back everything

You have 2 splitters.

One between the HR54 and the dish and another the 2 boxes having issues.

The issue is between the 2 splitters

You don't want to do a Reset Everything or you'll lose all your Recordings and settings and Series links.
I know, was hoping I wouldn't have to do that but would do it if that fixed things.
