Yes, I have read reviews of the ebay and amazon reeds and many folks say they aren't holding up well. I will get a decent one in and get it up n running..I was thinking the TS had a special switch but it appears to be a well built standard sensor.. thanks !!

I have one of the older heavy duty 36" Thompson-Saginaw Actuators .. After nearly 20 years of use this workhorse is acting up and it is the reed sensor.. I have been to Viking Sat, where I purchased this so long ago, and found out they are no longer in production and they do not have a reed...

I have a boot problem that just started with a LinkBox 8000HD. It boots to a solo #8 on the panel and will not start up. Anyone know of a solution or can you link me to a thread concerning this..?? Thanks in advance for your help, HB

Are there any receivers out there besides the Pansat 9200's that have s-video out anymore?? I like to record using that even if i can only record to 480i it is better quality than the RCA video out. I am having problems with my last 3 long standing 9200's and I am ready to just stop using them...
