Looks like I have to correct My previous post. I now have VOD working..... YIPEE!!!!!!!

I like many others do not have VOD. I have the code and it is enabled but do not have the authorization from D* as of yet. I am hoping to get it soon...

I have a HR20-100, HR20-700 and a H20-100 and all three of my receivers get the "searching for satelitte" as the test is supposed to get if the BBC's are working correctly.:)

You need the 5 LNB dish for any of the MPEG4 channels both now and in the future.

I belive that if you look clossly at the text on the screen if you program a av1 or av2 for audio there is a option to make the volume and mute controls work in the DSS mode. I have a sony a/v surround sound and use the remote to control the vol and mute functions without moving the switch on...

You will have two channel 8's one HD and one SD. Your OTA channel will be 8.1 etc. One of you channel 8's will look like dt8 which is usually the SD channel and the other one will show the call sign of the TV station, this one will be the HD one... Hope that helps... :D :D

I have the same problem also however my signal from sat 103 seems to go to zero when it fails, so I think I have a bad hr20. D* is sending me another one...

I thought that 99 and 103 were spot beams and not CONUS. If that is true then they would not be able to move ALL HD channels to those two satellites. There are a couple of new satelllites going up that might handle all of the HD but who knows what D* is thinging. The tech might have been...

My HR20-700 was updated to 11b yesterday morning at 4:32AM. I did not request it so they must have sent it out to me. It seems to work OK but I was only having a few problems wqith 10b code.

What number would you call???
