Hi - I am trying to get just 118.7 for our guest house in the backyard (my parents need their internationals) If I buy a new 500+ dish it comes to about $150 - is there a generic dish and 118.7 LNB you guys can recommend that would be a cheaper setup for the single 311 receiver I'll connect...

It's a tpyical brick and mortar chimney - probably 30 years old - you're right, wind load could be bad, in central calif we do have some windy storms during the winter.

Hi - just started subscribing to comcast for just standard def and the motorola box they brought seems awful. It takes so long to scroll through on-demand menus and flickers as I change channels. Anyone know if there's a better box available from them or is this the best it gets?

How do you guys know it's such a bad channel if you've never watched it?

This is probably a newbie question, but if my 129 signal is poor, but i have a strong 61.5 signal, will the reciever automatically get the HD channel from 61.5 instead of 129?

211 and poor reception I just had a 211 put in today for my panasonic 60U plasma and I too noticed that the picture is far more pixelated than it was when the OTA was directly connected to the tv. I guess thats something I just have to deal with based on this thread ...

any number to use for installer complaints? I had a similar problem - Saturday appointment for an install 12-5pm. At 4pm they call and say they don't have a dp44 switch and can't do the install. I was furious, i already waited at home all day - seemed weird that they would discover this at 4pm...

thanks Simon - thanks so much for your help... I can get all of my 61.5 channels on 121, plus an extra one that is only on 121. So it sounds like SuperDish is the way to go with a 3x4 switch. Any reason why a 2700 couldn't handle that? I assume picking up a new receiver is cheapest on...
