True, and I have one, but it’s hit and miss. Sometimes channels come in fine, sometimes not at all. Unfortunately my CBS station, the only one owned by Mission in my area, gets the worst reception for me.

Yep, mines gone today. Figures. Only way to really guard against these anymore is to go straight to the source. You can get CBS local stations from Paramount. Not all are available, though, so that’s not really a great solution either. These disputes are guaranteed anymore. Getting ridiculous.

Yeah, this exactly! That happens to me all the time. Add in the multiple apps and I could easily spend hours scrolling through an endless supply of content and still not find anything I want to watch. At least with cable, it only took a few minutes to scroll through the channels they provided.

It’s odd that NFL Net isn’t there. I suspect that has something to do with their NFLST contract which should expire after this upcoming season. It’s not quite as important as it once was though since there are no live games on it now.

Not a sun problem as this happens whether sunny or cloudy. Also the H3 is in the middle of the room, far away from windows. I’ve moved the H3 to different parts of the room, also tried an antenna extender, same outcome. I’m grasping at straws too but I think this has to have something to do...

So for me, the plot thickens. I seem to only have the problem during the day time. Once it’s dark outside, the remote works fine with no issues. During the day, it’s constantly freezing and missing button presses. Recently swapped out my receiver and same issue. - H3 - 54.0, 54.1, 54.3 - SW- H315

A new antenna did not solve this issue for me. I’ve now replaced the remote three times, tried two antennas, performed multiple restarts and even a partial reset and still have this problem. The buttons on the front panel always work fine and my Harmony linked via IP works fine, but these RF...

I’ve had this happen to me regardless of what remote I tried. I ordered a new remote antenna to see if that fixes it. Frustrating issue.

Might be too little, too late. I imagine the die-hard Redzone fans had already left before Sunday given that Fubo and YTTV now offer that. Not sure how many others stuck around. There’s only 17 weeks in the NFL season so every Sunday counts!

Dish has to be just milking current customers for all they’ve got in what is likely the waning years of sat tv. Channels keep disappearing but cost keeps going up. It’s all about the investors now (and probably always has been honestly). I recommend Fubo or YTTV for NFL & Redzone. I’ve tried...

Streaming often goes as well as your Internet goes. If you have a solid connection, hard wire your tv devices to the router, and have large amounts of bandwidth, then you’ll be fine.

You could try Hulu Live and Fubo. That would get you the RSNs and NFL, plus all other major league sports channels. The price would likely be similar, or maybe even cheaper, than Hulu and Dish together.

Maybe, but if you watch 2 or more games a month (likely) you’re already over $50.
