What Televes model are you comparing to?

I’ve been dealing with a lot since the repack. I would assume this is happening in a lot of places.

The Channel Master STB does not do 5.1 only 2.0 pcm. Just an FYI.

Hey guys trying 2 week free trial now. Have Dish currently but use it so little anymore that I figure why waste the money. Works great. One question I do have is about audio. No DD? Sounds like 2 channel pcm?

One issue I have with the new tuner and it only happened a few times is if I tune to an ota channel it appears as lines in the picture. No audio and picture is unwatchable. If i then tune to a satellite channel and then go back to the same ota channel it fixes the issue. Anyone else experiencing...

I also wanted to add that for the years that I used the single dongle and I would use the guide or menu while tuned to an ota station I would receive constant breakups on the pic in pic ota station in the upper corner. It was very annoying. Since adding the new dongle things have been stable.

So I’d like to hear of people’s experience with the new tuner in comparison to the old single tuner. So far I’d say the new tuner is working better for me. Holding signal better, less breakups.

No. It’s been solid for me. As good as the old single tuner.

Just to give a quick update. The Airtv dongle is working great for me. On my most difficult channel I have yet to see one breakup. This is the same channel that the hdhomerun couldn’t tune. Up and down dropout. Same repeating pattern over and over and we were never able to figure it out. Not...

I have the newer cm box no dvr just a simple tuner. So far the air tv has been excellent. Will report back once I spend more time with it. I have tested some of my problematic channels and haven’t received one dropout. It’s still to early for me to offer an opinion but will report back. I have...

I’ve tested mine for 3 days and it has performed excellently. Need more time with it but so far so good. In my short time with it I’d say it’s every bit of good as the older single usb tuner. We will see as I’m fringe and have good and bad days. So far it’s working great.

In the three days that I have used it I gotten excellent results. Of course time will tell if it’s better than the old single usb tuner but so far so good. I’m pretty fringe and get dropouts on occasion but I need to test this over a longer period.

I still can’t watch ota on my Joeys unless I tune the hopper to an ota station. Been like this for a year. Frankly I am beyond ticked off at this point.
