The 622 had only one bug, and it was probably not in the receiver itself. Local Fox HD from New York had audio dropouts that rendered watching the channel impossible. I called Dish and lucked out. Got a knowledgeable tech who actually listened to me and recorded data from my receiver...

I haven't heard much recently on Dish's switch to MPEG 4. Anybody out there have any info on this? I'm just wondering that when this switch is made, will the 622's audio dropout mess be cleared up? Still Fox-HD is unwatchable because of these dropouts.

Any news on when or if Dish will be offering WB/UPN as locals in the New York area? I understand that the two will merge by fall and be CW; I guess Dish will wait till then to make a move. Anyway, this would make a decent additional HD offering.
