Here is an app I've created for Dish techs. I hope it helps. http://www.windowsphone.com/s?appid=420366e7-d892-4562-aef4-98ae5a0bd5dd

    Dish Anywhere Windows RT App?

Chrome/Firefox etc do not work on Windows RT/Windows Phone. Apps must come from the Windows Store/Windows Phone Store and cannot be side-loaded.

    Adding Temp Joey

If you have Hopper with Sling or a Hopper with the red sling adapter you can have your guest use Dish anywhere on a pc or the iOS or Android apps to access your programming. Only one person can use the Sling at a time but that shouldn't be a problem. If you don't have the sling adapter you can...

    Dish and surge protector question

As others have said the barrel connectors on surge protectors are not rated to 2.2GHz that Dish receivers use definitely not 3Ghz that the hopper uses. Also the only reason not to plug a Dish receivers power into a surge protector is if your using a homeplug networking adapter on VIP equipment...

    Hopper / Joey Diplexer Question

Another thing to consider you should only have two devices (splitters, hics, taps, isolators) between a joey and the node. The moca signal will drop to a very low and unreliable level causing the joeys to not work properly

    Echostar 16 at 61.5W

The reason I ask is because Indy is the largest market in IN, but doesn't have locals on EA when smaller markets like Evansville does.

If ordering a Hopper tomorrow- Internet connection

I voted HIC but if you have available Ethernet at all locations using that would be just as good

    Illinois House Bill 5440

Those providers do pay their fair share. They have to pay for the bandwidth that their huge server farms are using to provide us with those services. If they pay more in taxes and fees they'll just pass that along to the end users. This bill hurts consumers and helps big government.

    Hopper as a standalone receiver

I agree with having both an EA and WA setup. The 1000.2 sets up easily, but the 1000.4 isn't much harder and it can be fine tuned for optimal signal much easier. Lastly the larger reflector size of the .4 doesn't hurt either. Both WA and EA lnbs exist for both dishes.

How to add to range of UHF PRO on 722k for multiple TV2s

Agreed, as an installer I will either mirror tvs or relocate antennas, but usually not both. Try a three way splitter at the receiver with a remote antenna and a short jumper to both the home distribution and the antenna port. At one of the distant locations have a two way splitter in line with...

    Dish Network Dilirious Diplexer Dilemna

Most installs will have dual coax coming off the dish to a dual ground block even if only one receiver is to be installed. It takes only a few seconds longer to run the dual than just a single drop. It makes adding a receiver in the future a whole lot easier.

    dishonline with windows RT

Windows RT has flash built into Internet Explorer. Any other plugins will not work. IE does support the HTML5 <VIDEO> tag.

Possible getting a new job at Dish.

They provide you with everything you need except for workboots. Good luck! I was hired last August
