I went in yesterday also and the associate pulled about 20 HD DVD's from the back as they had pulled them from the shelves. They only offered 30% off....I mentioned the Circuit City 50% deal and they still only would give 30. So I left with nothing.

JoeSp, Where did you get the information that Blu Ray player outsold HD DVD players? Everything I've seem to come across says the opposite. I have both and dont support one more than the other I just buy the movies I want in whatever format.

Now that Blu has almost pushed HD out of the picture are the movie prices going to go through the roof? I bet the BOGO deals will be few and far between. I bet sales figures may even drop.

At the Costco in Fredericksburg, VA the Disney BD Combo set with Chicken Little, Dinosaurs, The Wild, and Bridge to Terrabithia were on Special for $45.

I just watched this movie and I must say that it is the best that I have seen on either format. I have both...but this is the movie I will show everyone. Not a knock on Blu ray but HD DVD just raised the bar with this one....or should i say Dreamworks?

Buy the extended warranty....I have a 56" 1080p dlp and the light disappear on the right 2" of the screen. The tech came out and replaced the light engine. I asked if I didnt have the service plan what would it have cost me. The tech replied 1100 bucks. I was a bit skeptical so I looked up...

Was In Costco today in and saw their version of the HD DVD A2 which is the HD DVD D2 for $249.....I think Im going to take the plunge.....
