    Comcast cable signal thru 811?

    I have comcast cable in order to have the ability to record locals on my dvd recorder when I am watching and/or recording with my 501 dvr. If I get the 811 and connect the comcast cable signal to it, will the 811 be able to send HDTV signals from the comcast signal?
