KVLA audio problem on G19, TP 11836

Hi, I've got a CaptiveWorks 600S Premium. I can get TP 11836, and the various VN stations with normal audio, but KVLA channel has strange audio, which sounds like an echo... hard to watch/listen to their programming. I think I have the TP settings correct, according to Lyngsat... Thoughts...

Need wiring help with Echostar 4000 SRD C-band receiver

Can you circle where this motor cover is located (see my previous posted pictures)? I see the actuator arm.. is that the motor? Yes, I did the test inside the house. Again, I don't know where this motor cover is located.. the actual arm looks like a thick pole/piston... Also, since it's been...

Need wiring help with Echostar 4000 SRD C-band receiver

Ok, touch those two wires to my 12v marine deep cycle batteries and just see some spark at the wires when I touch them and don't see the dish move at all.. what does that mean? I even held the wires to the battery terminals, but no movement...

Need wiring help with Echostar 4000 SRD C-band receiver

Thanks! Ok, I'll just touch those thick white and red wires to + and - terminals of my 12V car battery and see if the dish moves, I hope. If it does work, then I assume reversing the wires to move the dish the other direction... If it feels stuck, then I will quickly remove the wires. I...

So, which two wires from my bulk cable from the dish can I put against my 12v battery to manually try to see if the dish moves left or right?

Ok, here are the picts of feedhorn and actuator. All looks intact, albeit worn/dirty.

Are you talking about the wires at the actuator itself, I assume.. not the feedhorn wires (it's got a cap so I can't see any wires sticking out of it).

Need wiring help with Echostar 4000 SRD C-band receiver

Yes, the cable/wires and the receiver are all original. This setup worked 8 years ago before I disconnected the receiver and wires from it. I didn't touch any wires to the dish itself. Also, I am stuck on 121W and I don't see any analog channels. But if I hook upmy MPEG2 receiver, I get this...

Need wiring help with Echostar 4000 SRD C-band receiver

Yes, I can remove the VC2 module from it just fine. Actually I could not find any analog / NTSC signal channel at all, remember, I am stuck on V polarity on 121 W.

Need wiring help with Echostar 4000 SRD C-band receiver

My SRD-4000 unit is self-contained... my setup is just the dish itself , the wires to the receiver, and the receiver itself... there has never been any external power supply or motor unit to this receiver, when it worked 8 years ago, before I disconnected the wires and cables and stored the...

Ok, I will try to reverse the motor wires next... and are you sure the sensor wires are correct/colored too?

Need wiring help with Echostar 4000 SRD C-band receiver

yes, there is a cover on the feedhorn... I will try to take a picture of the feedhorn and actuator when I get a chance... The actuator I can get too via ladder. but the feedhorn is in the middle of the dish mesh and not sure how to access it w/o stepping into the mesh dish itself...

Need wiring help with Echostar 4000 SRD C-band receiver

Ok, assuming the color mappings are correct as you stated... I found my remote control and when I tried to switch to another satellite, I would hear a click from the receiver (which was normal me I did this).. but then the SRD-4000 would give me E-14 error on display, which means "motor limit...

Hmmm. it was working (servor) about 8 years ago when I disconnected the wires... I guess after 8 years of non-use , it could have died... darn it... So do you have a link to where to get this new PLL C band LNBF so it has no moving parts and for this VBox mover too?

So, I think I have both set of wires connected to SRD-4000. Now usually on this model, if you tune to odd channels the LNB switches to H (or V) polarity. Then if you tune to even channels, it flips to the other polarity. The current situation is that on my FTA/MPEG2 box, I can watch BON and RT...
