PS Why wouldn't I be required to send it back? Can I not purchased these?

I am in Canada but work in the US. Was just wondering if I could bring the box over and mail it from within the US. I could wait for the box at the address I have on file but it is just easier to return it myself without waiting for it.

If I cancel a DirecTV receiver on my account, do they send me a box with pre-paid shipping to return it back? Can I use my own box to ship it back instead of waiting for theirs? How do I find out the address to ship it to? Matt

That's not an option for me. I just need to know if I can leave it as is and buy the rest of my PPV movies online. I only have one ppv purchase via remote but just needed to know how to deal with it.

I was able to order a PPV movie on my receiver with remote without a phone line connected to it. This is on the new HR22 HD DVR receiver. Since I do not have a phone line. How will DirecTV ever know? Is there a certain time limit where you need to plug into a phone line at some point to pay...
