Mine does not automatically reboot, but it often locks up when exiting and I have to manually reboot. Plus, there is no 5.1 sound, so for Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 (for example), I use my Samsung smart TV which has the capability.

I changed the priority of the show I didn't want to miss. Then it recorded.

Here, I record the program that precedes "Deadliest Catch , The Bait", then it skips the episode that follows with the message "cancelled by user..." followed by the name of the Hopper I am using (which I did not do) . The repeat of the episode later is then skipped as "already scheduled"...

This works for me, too. Dish first and second tier support have both confirmed to me that it is, in fact, a KNOWN issue. My hopper was replaced Friday due to an apparent bad spot on the hard drive which caused playback to stop thus ruining the recorded shows, and the replacement Hopper behaved...

I have found that pressing the * key that zooms in, then selecting normal ( meaning no change) and pressing the big "select" button restores CC to the program I am watching. Then I back up the program to replay what I missed. Seems to work better if the program is paused first. This problem...

I had a Hopper and Joey just installed, discovered that it was not to my liking, called Dish, and next morning had two Hoppers and NO Joeys. No muss, no fuss.

I just installed my OTA module today. It behaves identically to what you describe. I am running 330. I suspect that it, as well as the EHD problem I also have is caused by a software deficiency that is known and being worked on with a resolution to be sometime mid-month... Ben
