Which Dish remote/remotes do you have/use?

I have 4 tv's & ordered all the new remotes. Gave all those away ordered 8 of the 40.0 remotes. Tried all of them & went back to the 40.0. Now I have backups if they stop making the 40.0. I much prefer a dedicated button for each function.

    Hopper3 and router speed

Sure there is. Keep in mind that the 2.4 ghz band is slower but has greater range. Where as the 5 ghz band has faster speed but less range. On a Netgear router go to a web browser & type in Router login . When prompted to log in unless you have changed these settings the default is: User...

    Hopper 3 reliability

As with jSheridan I currently have both the Hopper 3 & DTV Genie. I had the Genie installed to get NFL Sunday ticket. My suggestion is don't walk but run from the DTV Genie. As far as reliability i have only had problems with one hopper & that was the original Hopper. I have had 2 of the 922, 2...

    DIRECTV Launches new C61 Client

I have to respectfully disagree. As a standalone DVR then 5 tuners are fine but as a supposed whole home DVR then the Genie falls woefully short in all areas. The processing power is way under powered. The user interface makes me feel like windows 3.1. Long in the tooth is being respectful. You...

    4k Joey or Wireless Joey

I have the Hopper 3 with three 4K joeys. I really like them. They are nearly as fast as the hopper & very small able to be hid behind tv if needed. The in-laws have a wireless joey that is significantly slower as well as needing to be reset every once in a while.

Should I get 4K Joeys instead of 2.0's?

Here here on the 40.0 remote. After spending the whole evening yesterday with the 52.0 remote I ended up pairing my 40.0 & putting the 52.0 in a drawer

Should I get 4K Joeys instead of 2.0's?

Just installed yesterday 1 Hopper 3 & 3 4K joeys. Maybe overkill but hey to each his own. I upgraded from 2 Hopper 2's & 2 Joey 1.0. I wanted PIP on all Tv's which the 4K joey's are supposed to do. Not yet on Pip on 4K joeys. Maybe a future software update? I have no experience with joey 2.0 as...

    Dish 50.0 (Voice remote)

Installed Hopper 3 & 3 4K Joeys yesterday. No charge on Hopper 3 4K joeys were $50.00 ea one time charge but was waved by upper account mgr. The current Hopper 3's ship with 52.0 remote & thankfully compatible with 40.0 remote as well. Tech called in at my request & was told when the 50.0...
