You would have to subscribe to AT250 to get the VS sd feed in order to get the VS/Golf HD feed. DVR Advantage covers one dvr fee and one lease fee. You can do it with the AT 100 or AT200. HBO/Showtime added on to dvr advatage would run $20.

Does anyone have any trouble with FOX with E*? It will be fine for about ten minutes then start to macroblock for a few seconds before returning back to normal. I didn't know if this was a problem with the dish or if anyone else has this problem. Thanks

Thanks for the respones. It sounds like I am a wishful thinker, hoping this functionality was already done. Well my tv is new so it is 1080p. I will just mess around with the output to see which resolution looks "best" to me.

On the menu there is a HD setup where you can output the tv, 720p, 1080i, etc. Do you guys have this set at 1080i and does this convert all of the broadcasts to 1080i? I want the tv to do all the upscaling and so would I just set this at the lowest setting? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the respones....I just assumed I would need a 1000 dish for HD, but it looks like I am wrong on that one... so if I understand correctly all I have to pay for is the vip622 and E* will put in the right dish(es) at no cost?

I have been with dish for about 10 months and when I signed up, I signed up for SD service. Now I want to upgrade to HD.... I have a dish 500 right now, would they put in a 1000.2 and a vip622? What kind of equipment charges am I looking for this stuff? Thanks guys

Does anyone know if you get a SD tuner for 2 tv's do both tv's hook up to box? So only 1 tv is really hooked up to the splitter from the dish and the 2nd tv is run from the box? Also does the 2nd tv hook up via RG-6 or component? Thanks

birddoggy thanks for the responses. One last question, the splitter that the dish is connected into that send the signal to all the tv's can that be mounted inside the house? I just was a really clean install. birddoggy can you travel to the city to do my install? Thanks

Can anyone tell me how the dish is attached to the roof? The reason I ask is that their is an older dish on the roof which I want to remove, but I dont want water coming into the attic if I remove it. Thanks
