My 522 has *always* done that! You take the good with the bad I guess... When it's on pause, you can hit the << (frame back) button a couple of times, and when you un-pause it, the audio will pick up where you left off.

Yep... I remember when we got NBR on the 522, and I was pissed because they did it like that. It isn't nearly as useful or accurate as it *could* be if they'd just look for the word "New."
