Haven't seen Ion in years except on a B.U.D. Except for the weekends their programming is not all that. I rate it up there with Oprah's channel and lots of others with almost nothing worth watching

Had Sling since they started a couple of years ago. Works fine on our Roku 3 with 20/2 mbps internet

Neither of my grown kids ages 32 and 37 have cable Tv. Most of my 7 grandkids have grown up with PBS OTA or like their parents watch streamed stuff. We have Sling at our house and 70 channels OTA

Cable and satellite started big in the U.S in the 80's and most took their bait. Back then it was reasonable $35 a month or so and lots to watch. The cable companies locked everyone in and started jacking up the prices so we have the mess we have today. There's no incentive to offer anything...

Well looks like I'm grandfathered in on yet another package. I hope I never need to make a change or this will cost me more $$. Did we really need another $ 5.00 package though.

Jholt I have a Fortec 6 footer sitting here in the yard not hooked up. Might need some spray to spruce it up. It's similar to the big one in my av. It's a fixed dish but could be motorized at some point. I'm east of Cincinnati. If you're interested in making the trip south let me know its yours

I see the pizza dish going the way of the big dish....might take 15-20 years but it will happen....Key is decent affordable internet without useless caps. Broadband of some kind has to hit the rural areas too
